I recently bought a property that would turn into a rental property. It was complete with green plaid wallpaper, shag carpets, and yellow tiled kitchen counters. After much frustration trying to trying to do the reno myself I decided let the contractor do what he does best so I called Oscar, owner of Oscar Marticorena Contracting. Oscar is clean cut, on time, professional, great portfolio, and has an easygoing quality about him that immediately put me at ease. He spoke in terms I understood and made me feel comfortable discussing ideas without needing to interpret any technical talk.

Oscar offered options for our kitchen remodel that met what I had in my head and also worked for our future plans of making the basement into an apartment so I could have a legal duplex rental property. His quote was not the lowest I had received, but best of all his timeline for completion was unbelievably short. We signed contracts and to my amazement work began immediately and quickly. In the end I couldn’t have been more pleased when the kitchen was officially handed over to me on time and on budget.
